Some Bright Ideas

So, as you have probably seen, we have some horrendous lighting fixtures that we were...ummm...lucky (?) enough to keep when we purchased the home.  Unfortunately, since we're ripping everything else out, these lights will have to go too, darn.

Currently, we are on the lookout for a new chandelier/pendant light for our dining room.  We have replaced the old chandelier with the new light that we bought for the breakfast nook because we were so tired of bonking our heads on the darned thing.  I'm surprised it wasn't ripped out of the ceiling at some point because the thought had crossed our minds at least a dozen times each.

Here are some ideas I've tossed around thus far:

Trellis Shade via Shades of Light

Solaris Pendant Light via Canada Lighting Experts

Orbit Chandelier via Z Gallerie

Loft Chandelier via Z Gallerie

Eclipse Chandelier via Z Gallerie

Axis Chandelier via Z Gallerie
But the one that I am really favouring at the moment is Chrystorama Solaris Mini Chandelier at CSN Lighting (unfortunately, Jeff isn't feeling this one).

So ladies and gents, if you would please, keep your eyes peeled for chandeliers like the ones above or let me know of where to purchase lighting that won't break the bank, it would be greatly appreciated!

  1. Oooh! I love the Eclipse Chandelier! Those are way more interesting than the standard light fixtures.
